When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and school name (optional). When you use the app, we store the content you create including student rosters, lesson plans, assessments, attendance records, and parent messages. We also collect payment information through Stripe (we never store your credit card details directly).
We use your information to provide and improve Summer Mode, process payments, send account-related communications, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use student data for advertising or marketing purposes.
We take student data privacy seriously. All student information entered into Summer Mode is stored securely and is only accessible to the teacher who created it. We comply with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) requirements. We do not share student data with any third parties. Student data is used solely to provide the educational services within the app.
Summer Mode uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate educational content such as lesson plans, assessments, and parent messages. The prompts and student context you provide are sent to the AI service to generate responses. We do not use your data to train AI models. AI-generated content is stored in your account for your use only.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing alexander@teacherpulse.academy. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
